Beşiktaş JK Museum, which has the distinction of being the first sports museum in the name of sports history and culture in Türkiye, was opened as Türkiye's first private sports museum on 11 December 2001 in İnönü Stadium. Afterward, it was registered with the approval of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism dated 28 June 2007 and numbered 112603. Renovated with the perspective of contemporary museology, our museum was opened to visitors on February 14, 2017. Beşiktaş JK Museum, which is entered through the historical 19 May gate of Vodafone Park, has the distinction of being Türkiye's largest sports museum with an area of 1650 m2 located on two floors.
We take you on a pleasant journey in the digital world with our applications based on your experience while transforming our museum collection, which we have prepared to serve as a source for today's sports culture, by reflecting the 117-year history of our club Beşiktaş JK, which has witnessed the sport's history of our country.
In our museum; the story of our club, which has been told chronologically from 1902 to the present, and the collection and digital applications exhibited in line with this context are included. Our Museum, which brings you information about not only football but all sports branches within our body, also has an exhibition area where we organize temporary exhibitions that bring together sports and art in connection with our collection.
Aiming to interact with its visitors and to provide an unforgettable experience with its applications designed for all age groups in the museum areas, Beşiktaş JK Museum offers the opportunity to watch and interactively experience information about our club's sports branches with the applications available at 58 digital stations. In addition, an exciting rollercoaster experience awaits you at Vodafone Park with augmented reality. In addition to these, there are interactive areas throughout the museum that you can experience and explore by touching.
Beşiktaş JK Museum, which set out with the goal of not only a football club museum but also a sports history museum; promises you a unique experience with its interactive areas, and disabled and child-friendly structure.
While our museum offers a versatile perspective on sports history and culture, it also aims for future generations to discover and learn about sports heritage and culture. In this direction, it offers a learning and interactive environment where children and adults spend their free time productively and have a good time throughout the year with activities where sports and art meet.
